With the verification function, sensors on the application head or product line ensure proper positioning of the adhesive application. If an adhesive application pattern is outside the selected tolerance range, the system immediately outputs an error signal. The signal can be used as needed for an alarm function, product ejection resp. product marking.

The sensor measures the moisture content in the adhesive and does not require any UV additive. iTac iT04 has the same or better performance as the proven UV detection method and can detect adhesive deviations, presence, placement, and volume at belt speeds of over 650 m/min.
